On 16 October 2026, Rocky Li, Executive Director (Hong Kong), visited A.D. & F.D. of POHL Leung Sing Tak School at the invitation of the Hong Kong Clerical and Professional Employees General Union. He introduced Primary 5 pupils to “AI in everyday life and the future” in a talk held from 08:30 to 09:30 HKT as part of the school career exploration programme.
Connecting AI to everyday learning
Short videos, familiar analogies and interactive questions introduced what AI is and how it can be used in learning and everyday life. By connecting technical ideas to situations the pupils recognised, the session encouraged discussion through examples and questions.
Developing resources for school AI education
The visit records the chapter’s participation in school AI outreach. Concrete examples, clear language and interactive activities offer useful material for developing introductions to AI for primary pupils.
With the speaker’s and school’s agreement, suitable examples and presentation materials could be developed into resources for teachers and parents.
