Chapter Secretary-General Jeremy Cai was honoured to join COCREATE Pitch Kuala Lumpur on 16 October 2026 as a judge for the ten finalist entrepreneurs. Representing Accio Work, he also launched ACE (Agent Commerce Empire) in Malaysia, sharing how AI collaboration and practical business support can help one-person companies (OPCs) build cross-border e-commerce businesses.

Four connected business bottlenecks

The presentation identified four challenges for OPCs: fragmented tools, limited sourcing resources, unclear sales channels and a lack of ongoing coaching. For founders managing several business functions at once, these challenges are connected. Finding a tool is one step; linking sourcing, operations and sales channels remains essential.

AI execution alongside business support

In Jeremy’s account of the event, ACE combines the Accio Work platform, an MBA-style cohort playbook, hands-on coaching and a partner network covering sourcing, logistics, sales channels, finance and tax. The founder retains responsibility for business judgement and decisions, while AI supports execution and workflow coordination. Together, these elements provide a more organised way to connect the tasks of a solo business.

Practical questions for OPC adoption

The discussion raises a question for further study: which tasks can an OPC assign to AI, and which decisions need human ownership? With participants’ agreement, the chapter could document real workflows, human review points and execution records to provide practical reference material for cross-border founders.
